The group has an active team maintaining footpaths, bridleways and other rights of way and constructing simple bridges, boardwalks, steps and replacing stiles with kissing gates.
Members of the group are qualified to use brush cutters and strimmers for clearing footpaths and bridleways.

We have a team of Parish Representatives who check the condition of rights of way within the NE Hants area and report any problems to Hampshire County Council for action.
It is not necessary for you to walk with the group to help with maintaining rights of way either with the working parties or becoming a Parish Representative but you do need to be a Ramblers member so you are covered by their insurance policy.
